Message Weight-dependent resistance (rolling included) is weakly linear with speed. Drag coefficient and frontal area are the quantities that really matter. I did some Z specific calculations. If Mikester's engine is capable of 70mph with 3500lbs of weight, the speed will only increase to 71.34mph when weight reduces to 3000lbs. He'd be much better of with removing the spoiler, lowering his car, and using narrower tires.
